It has some added options as auto-login user/pw along as the ability to pass certificates, portable behavior (reads/writes config to an ini file, saves sessions in subfolders), a session manager so you can launch sessions directly from the systray, built-in ssh key generator/converter, text editor, and many, many more things. I've been using KiTTY exclusively (an open source Windows-only fork of putty) after my MobaXTerm subscription expired about 2 years ago. Thanks for the suggestions! Checking out RoyalTS now, but I'll check out the others if I think I need something different :) I bought the "pro edition" because I had over 20 regular servers I regularly SSH into. So, I'm looking for an alternative that allows me to organize different connections into folders and preferably tabbed sessions.

In order to download anything, it keeps requesting $55. I paid $70 and don't even get to keep the version I have currently installed for life. It won't let me download the "pro edition" at all anymore which really (imo) sucks as a business practice. My expectation was that I could still at least download the last version before my subscription expired. I logged into my customer panel and found out my subscription ended 4/2020. The performance has been bad lately, so I decided to check for updates. I've been using MobaXterm without any complaints for years now and finally bought the pro version last year.
